when you take a photograph of a person, you have a one of a kind photograph.  Every photographer has a favorite photographer, one that you would like to be like.  I found my favorite in Life magazine, Alfred Eisenstaedt and his photographs of people doing something.  One of the greats of Stock Photography, who most of you have never heard of, is Rohn Engh, founder of PhotoSource International.  He tells us that there is a formula for a good stock photo.  Have a person in it.  Have a symbol.  Have the person involved with that symbol and watch your background.  I have tried to keep that in mind over the years, and the photos that worked best as stock did use that formula.  I have now gone back over my images, and will continue to rework this site, so what you see today may well be different tomorrow, so visit often.
